Hold the [Start] + [Tab] button to view all opened applications. Tap [tab] to change the order of the applications.
This will serve well when you're have multiple applications opened such as when doing business or homework. Flash will still work while using this preview. As an example, you can still view your Youtube video while having this open. You may click on an application to view it. This trick has never slowed down my computer but I would't recommend it for slow performing computers.
2. Adding any folders to favorites.
To add a folder to favorites, in Windows explorer, go to the folder that you want to add. Once the folder is opened, right click on favorites and click "Add current location to favorites".
3. Pin applications to the taskbar.
To pin an application to the taskbar, open up the application. Once opened it will pop up on the taskbar. Right click it and click pin to task bar. This trick is worth while and will save loads of time.
4. Keyboard shorcuts
To add a shortcut to an application simply open its properties and open the "ShortCut" tab. Click on "Shortcut key"(Center) and press [Ctrl] + the key that you want. To use the key, click [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [key that you chose].
5. Change the action of the [Shut down] button.
To change the action of this button, right click on the shut down button and hit properties. From there you will see a "Power button action: [shut down]" Change it to what ever you want.
